The person in this role demonstrates a high level of professionalism, prioritizing the integrity and strategic insights derived from financial and operational data within the Business Technology function, specifically in the Global SAP CoE.
The General SAP Controlling Lead owns the strategy and design of the SAP CO functional domain within a global template implementation. You will drive the harmonization of controlling processes, ensure best‑practice adoption (e.g., Clean Core), and manage the integration between controlling and other modules (FI, MM, PP, SD). This role involves leading global design workshops, managing stakeholder expectations at the management level, and guiding internal and external consultants. The role requires building strong partnerships and fostering talent while driving results through high standards and effective change management.
Main Accountabilities
- Oversee and manage significant operational plans and projects within the Global SAP Controlling function, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
- Lead and influence large-scale initiatives, providing leadership and support to professional staff within the Global SAP CoE.
- Contribute to the development and execution of short to mid-term (1-3 years) talent optimization plans to support strategic objectives in the controlling area.
- Take accountability for the successful results of large and moderately complex projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Provide valuable input on resource planning and the development of financial policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement departmental plans that contribute to the overall financial strategy of Bunge, leveraging recognized expertise in the field.
- Analyze and resolve complex problems where existing precedents may not apply, contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions.
- Guide daily activities of support staff and provide general supervision, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
