Job Title: IT Audit Manager
Summary of the role
Amadeus' Group Internal Audit helps the organization improve its operations and accomplish its objectives by providing independent, objective assurance (3rd Line of Defense) and consulting services. The audit manager will assess and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes across the Amadeus IT Group worldwide. The position is based in Madrid and may require occasional travel to other Amadeus locations.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute audit reviews for operational processes, system implementations, applications, IT infrastructures, and other IT‑related risk areas.
- Review IT General Controls, system stability, information security, software development life cycle, IT operations, business continuity, security, data privacy, PCI‑DSS, ISO standards, and other relevant areas.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders while performing reviews.
- Formalize independent assessments and recommendations.
- Partner with IT, Risk and Compliance, business areas,



and Security to recognize major IT‑related initiatives across the company.
- Participate in advisory activities, evaluating and recommending improvements to business practices, processes, and control procedures.

Idóneo Candidate
- Holds a university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Has more than six years of relevant experience in IT/IS Audit in a multicultural environment.
- Is proficient with data analytics and the use of CAAT tools.
- Is proficient in English (both spoken and written).
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly to a wide range of audiences.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CISSP, CIPP, ISO 27000, PCI‑DSS, or CISA are considered a plus but not required.
