Position
Truck Planner (ES) – Full time, on site – Barcelona, Spain.
Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient planning of road transport within Spain, aiming for lowest cost while maintaining highest customer satisfaction.
- Plan and organize road transport for both Van den Bosch truck‑driver teams and external parties.
- Ensure trucks arrive on time at loading/unloading sites so customers’ products reach destination in perfect condition and precisely when needed.
- Adjust planning daily to respond to changing situations and ensure optimal truck scheduling.
- Maintain close contact with internal departments such as Customer Service and Master Planning (container planning).
- Ensure smooth handover of planning to Fleet Planners for clear driver instructions.
- Remain calm and composed under pressure while solving problems and finding optimal solutions.

Qualifications




- HBO level education; bachelor’s degree in transport or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience in a planning department; affinity with transport and knowledge of bulk transport is a plus.
- Good command of English and Spanish.
- Residence near Barcelona.
- Driven, decisive, solution‑oriented.
