DESCRIPTION
Airbus Helicopters is looking for an IT Operation Specialist – Linux and Windows Systems to join our team based in Spain.
The role is responsible for ensuring the operational maintenance of key engineering applications and providing guidance to engineers on major tool evolutions.
YOUR CHALLENGES
- Provide RUN support (maintaining operational condition) for key applications used by engineering teams.
- Ensure the proper functioning of applications.
- Ensure solution operability, performance and robustness.
- Administrate and maintain Linux and Windows systems.
- Propose continuous improvement on processes.
- Collaborating closely with the engineering team and digital operational teams.
- Creating, modifying, and presenting technical reports.
- Effectively communicating issues related to application functionality and performance.
- Manage the CMDB of the products.

SKILLS
- Unix/Linux & Windows administration skills.
- Script development (python, bash, …).




- Good knowledge of incident and change management based on ITIL principles.
- Good analytical skills as well as interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn new things.
- Autonomy in a good team spirit is recommended as a success factor.
- Open‑minded for collaborative ways of working in a transnational business environment.
- Ability to work collectively, respecting Airbus values and seeking empowerment are keys.
