Overview
This position is intended for candidates with more than 5 years of professional experience.
The salary range, depending on experience, is between €45,000 and €60,000 gross per year.
Vacation: approximately 23 days, plus additional benefits (see below).
Location: On-site in Barcelona (22@ Tech District), with approximately 50% travel across Europe.
Remote work: 1 day per week possible.
Muxon is a small, globally active recruitment agency and is conducting this search on behalf of our partner, a leading precision motion-control and medical-technology components company that designs servo drives, encoders and integrated motion subsystems for robotics, medical devices and advanced industrial OEMs. We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide technical leadership for customer applications across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre- and post-sales technical support and system-level guidance to OEM customers to accelerate design-in and reduce time-to-market.
- Support territory managers on customer visits, design reviews and technical negotiations.
- Develop and deliver technical trainings, demos and sales enablement materials for customers, distributors and colleagues.
- Capture and document application use-cases and competitive benchmarks to inform product strategy.
- Build customer-facing demo systems and represent the company at trade shows and conferences; contribute technical articles and collateral.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in applications, design, or field engineering roles involving motion control hardware (e.g., servo drives, position encoders, master or safety controllers).
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to customers, partners, and non-technical stakeholders.
