Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)
Full‑time, onsite position in Bilbao, PV, ES.
Annual Compensation Range: €55,000–€77,000 per year (vigente compensation determined by experience, qualifications, and location).
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, enforcing security best practices such as least‑privilege IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and compliance guardrails.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, integrating SAST, secrets detection, container image scanning, and security policies.
- Champion infrastructure security by proactively remediating cloud misconfigurations, leveraging GuardDuty, Security Hub, and Config, and partnering with the Security team on vulnerability management and incident response.
- Define and manage SLOs, build alerting and observability with CloudWatch and related tools, and drive blameless post‑mortems.
- Participate in on‑call rotation and own production incidents from detection through resolution and follow‑up.




- Maintain build and release environments for development teams, develop automation and test tooling for client applications, and evaluate emerging DevOps technologies through proof‑of‑concept testing.
- Keep documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams current and actionable.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands‑on DevOps or SRE experience in AWS (EC2, ECS, ECR, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront).
- BA/BS in Engineering or Computer Science preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- AWS Professional‑level certification (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Professional, or equivalent) is ideal.
- Deep Terraform expertise, writing modular, reusable, well‑tested IaC with a focus on security.
- Strong GitHub Actions experience building pipelines with integrated security scanning (SAST, secrets detection, container image scanning); Jenkins experience is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with GuardDuty, Security Hub, Conf
