Job Purpose/Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Specialist – Finance to join our team at AZ Direct Spain. The idóneo candidate will bring expertise in IFRS 17 accounting, financial analysis, planning and budgeting, expense control, and reporting. Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and financial forecasting is essential. The role requires a self‑driven, autonomous professional with excellent English communication skills, a solid background in the insurance industry, and the ability to deliver impactful financial insights and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis




- Conduct detailed analyses of financial statements and operational results for the Non‑Life business.
- Identify, analyze, and report deviations from budgets and forecasts, explaining their causes and evolution.
- Provide actionable insights to support decision‑making and improve financial performance.

IFRS 17 Accounting
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 17 standards in financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Analyze and interpret complex financial data in line with IFRS 17 requirements.

Planning And Budgeting
- Collaborate in the preparation of the annual budget and medium‑to‑long‑term financial plans.
- Monitor budget adherence and propose corrective measures when necessary.
- Support the development of financial strategies to align with business objectives.

Expense Control
- Monitor and manage expenses to ensure alignment with budgets and financial targets.
