DevOps Automation Engineer
Sateliot is a Barcelona-based startup in the New Space sector, becoming the first satellite telecommunications operator that will provide integral and continuous connectivity to all the elements that will make up the massive Internet of Things (IoT) universe under the 5G protocol.
In order to do so, Sateliot is launching a constellation of last generation nanosatellites, located at low altitude that act as mobile towers. Sateliot is the perfect complement for large telecommunications companies by providing them with the necessary infrastructure where terrestrial technologies do not arrive.
Your Mission
Your primary mission will be to drive an "automation-first" culture and engineer the solutions that allow us to scale for our next phases. Operating under a "Guild" model, you will embed yourself within these technical teams to understand their daily work, identify bottlenecks, and build automated solutions.
You will be the key enabler who transforms their workflows: converting repetitive manual tasks into robust scripts, developing custom applications,



building CI/CD pipelines, and implementing IaC for new infrastructure. Your work will be fundamental to improve our overall developer efficiency and ensure our satellite constellation scales effectively.
Your Main Functions
- Process Analysis & Automation: Sit with User, Ground, and Space Segment teams to understand their daily operations, manual procedures, and pain points. Identify, design, and implement automated solutions.
- Tool Development and Scripting: Create custom tools and applications (primarily Python ) and scripts ( Bash ) that automate complex processes. This includes, but is not limited to, log parsing, E2E test orchestration, and managing data workflows for our satellites and ground stations.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (using GitHub Actions) to ensure agile and reliable software integration and delivery, with a special focus on building a
