UNOPS has partnered with UNGSC to provide support services covered in this TOR. This is a position in UNOPS for supporting projects carried out for the United Nations Secretariat. The incumbent of this position will be a staff member of UNOPS under its full responsibility. THIS IS A LOCAL POSITION FOR WHICH ONLY APPLICANTS WHO ARE SPANISH OR EUROPEAN UNION CITIZENS OR APPLICANTS WHO POSSESS A VALID RESIDENCE AND WORK PERMIT IN SPAIN ARE ELIGIBLE FOR CONSIDERATION.

Job Specific Context
The United Nations Global Service Center (UNGSC) under the Department of Operational Support (DOS) aims to continue the maintenance of a technical delivery and support team in Valencia and Brindisi. This support includes the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of critical technical infrastructure, data centre facilities, infrastructure monitoring systems, and IoT/OT-enabled services.
To support the implementation of these solutions, technical capacity is required for project management, business analysis, data and software architecture design, requirements documentation and validation, configuration/design specification, and systems analysis.
