Construction Environmental Health & Safety Manager – Construction Safety
Location: Castel Guelfo (BO), Italy
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of construction safety programs across active project sites.
- Provide leadership and oversight to site safety professionals, ensuring consistent execution of safety policies and procedures.
- Partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to integrate safety planning into construction activities and project execution.
- Conduct safety audits, site assessments, and program evaluations to identify risks and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs, orientations, and leadership coaching for field personnel and contractors.
- Support the development and execution of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.




- Establish and monitor key safety performance metrics and provide reporting and insights to leadership.
- Serve as the primary safety liaison with internal stakeholders, contractors, and project leadership teams.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and proactive hazard identification across construction operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience managing safety programs within complex construction environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence safety culture and drive compliance across cross‑functional teams.
