Purpose
To perform activities including brush cutting and general debris clearing to support activities of the District's electric crews, water/wastewater crews and meter readers to assist in accomplishing the District's mission and goals.
Job Description
Rate of pay is $20.39 per hour, plus the value of benefits to regular, full-time employees. This position is open to full-time college students only.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform work as required to cut weeds and brush, trim bushes, and maintain access to District facilities.
- Clear and clean around electric meters, water meters, fire hydrants, transformers and junction boxes as needed.
- Report access problems and trees or brush that will require a chainsaw for removal to Supervisor.
- Replace missing or faded decals on transformers and junction boxes per District specifications.
- Meet and work with the public effectively and courteously.




- Answer customer questions and refer customer questions and/or complaints to the appropriate person or department.
- Responsible for use, care and security of tools, vehicles, equipment and materials utilized.

Additional Job Functions
- Report observed damage to any District facilities to Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.
