Job Purpose
As a Cash Applications Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring customer payments are accurately allocated and reconciled within our financial systems. You will support cash application activities, investigate payment discrepancies, and work closely with Credit & Collections teams to maintain accurate customer account balances.
Responsibilities
- Process and allocate incoming customer payments accurately and on time
- Manage the Direct Debit process from start to finish
- Perform end-to-end credit card reconciliation activities
- Handle cheque and bill of exchange processing
- Investigate and resolve payment-related queries
- Reconcile cash‑in‑transit accounts
- Support SOX compliance and internal control processes

Qualifications
- Vocational qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- No previous professional experience required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills




- Comfortable working with data and financial information
- Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
- Resilient and able to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
