What You’ll Do
This is a technical leadership role focused on platform ownership, reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will lead a team responsible for the infrastructure and tooling around our data warehouse and ensure the platform enables teams to move fast while maintaining high standards of quality, cost control, and security.




- Own the architecture, reliability, and performance of the cloud data platform built on GCP
- Manage and mentor a team of data platform engineers
- Ensure the scalability and stability of core components, including BigQuery, DBT, Composer (Airflow), and Looker
- Define and implement best practices for infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Act as the owner of platform administration (tool admin) across the data stack, ensuring proper configuration, access, and lifecycle management
- Enforce data access and permission models in alignment with Data Governance policies, ensuring secure and compliant usage of data
- Monitor platform performance and reliability, defining how tools are observed, measured, and improved over time
- Optimize cost and performance across the platform, especially in BigQuery and orchestration workloads
- Define and promote best practices across the data platform, ensuring consistency, sc
