Overview In this role you develop and optimize tools and automation for coating application, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate needs into tested, scalable solutions. You’ll work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable field implementation. The position centers on hands‑on tool development, integration of mechanical and electrical components, and driving repeatable, high‑quality application methods.

Develop, prototype, and enhance tools and equipment for coating application, emphasizing automated and semi‑automated solutions

Support manufacturability, serviceability, and safe operation in industrial coating environments

Contribute to automated coating concepts by integrating mechanical parts, electronics, sensors, actuators, and control elements

Test, troubleshoot, and optimize tool performance in lab, workshop, and field settings

Assist in selecting and validating components and suppliers for tool projects

Prepare drawings, specs, test plans,



and development documentation for new tools or modifications

Coordinate with application specialists, coating advisors, Ru0026D, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and practical implementation

Contribute to continuous improvement of application methods, reliability, and repeatability in automated coating processes

Deliver fit‑for‑purpose tools and equipment and ensure on‑time milestones and documentation

Enhance reliability, repeatability, and safety in coating application processes

Support automation initiatives and field implementation

Requisitos principales

Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering

3–7 years in product/tool development, industrial equipment, automation, or related fields

Hands‑on mechanical design and/or electronics integration

Experience with testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and documentation

Knowledge of automation, robotics, or coating application processes (advantage)

Fluency in English
