We are seeking a full‑time Solutions Consultant to join the Barcelona Services team, reporting to the Regional Services Manager. The role involves designing and executing implementations of Aucerna solutions for clients, and providing ongoing support for deployed solutions. The consultant will act as the technical face of the organization, establishing trust with clients and ensuring high quality work and client satisfaction.

Location: Barcelona. Domestic and international travel within EMEA is required.

Key Responsibilities Participate as a member of the Barcelona Services team, from understanding clients’ business requirements to implementation of Aucerna’s solutions, following the company’s project and program management methodology. Work in a team with the Project Manager to keep the project on schedule and budget by communicating progress, expectations, and escalating issues. Perform software implementations at leading oil and gas companies.

Deliver projects in support of overall program goals and deliverables. Ensure that clients’ needs are met by providing professional high‑quality service before, during, and after customer requirements are fulfilled. Support clients through the go‑live process and play a key role in promoting solution adoption.

Communicate project deliverables proactively, managing expectations and presenting to stakeholders and sponsors. Resolve challenging technical support questions related to the solution suite. Collaborate effectively across internal departments (product development, solutions architects, quality assurance, sales, marketing).

Provide solution training to clients and employees.

Qualifications University degree,



preferably in a technical or business discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics).

Software implementation skills: requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support. Strong technical skills with the ability to think through details without losing sight of the big picture.

Experience with consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, and process mapping. Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business process challenges. Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and global teams. Good verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to build effective internal and customer relationships.

Ability to learn and master new technologies. Detail oriented and customer focused. Software implementation background or experience working for a software company.

Experience in Oil & Gas Upstream Planning, Reserves Management and/or Economics. Ability to develop trust with clients, including technical staff and management.

Other

Willing to travel nationally and internationally, up to 40% at times, providing on‑site consulting work to clients when required. Intensive (60%–70%) travel time to Russia may be required during the first 2 years. Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
