Role / Description
We are looking for a technically driven Business Development Engineer to join our advanced engineering and manufacturing team. This is a key commercial role at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and strategic customer partnerships.
The idóneo candidate combines a strong technical understanding of design, simulation, testing and manufacturing methods with the ability to build trusted relationships and unlock new business opportunities across both Aerospace and Defence domains. You will collaborate with engineers, programme managers and executives to position Outrigo’s solutions as critical enablers in next-generation programmes.
Responsibilities / What You Will Do
- Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities across aerospace and defence domains.
- Translate complex engineering solutions (design, simulation, test & validation, additive manufacturing) into clear value propositions for decision-makers.
- Engage in technical discussions with engineers and commercial negotiations with procurement and leadership teams.
- Manage the full sales cycle:



prospecting, proposal creation, contract negotiation and closing.
- Work with technical teams to shape tailored solutions that align with client requirements, including performance, cost and delivery.
- Support preparation of bids, proposals and technical-commercial documentation.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting in CRM/ERP systems.
- Represent Outrigo at industry events, trade fairs and client workshops.
- Actively monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities to refine strategy.
- Serve as the primary post-sales contact, ensuring smooth onboarding and adoption of the product.
- Monitor customer usage and satisfaction, identifying opportunities to maximize value.
