Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands
As a Go Backend Cloud Native Engineer for the Hospitality Global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY,
you will have the opportunity to work as a team member within the R&D; department and report the results to the R&D; Team.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technical Officer, you will be responsible for and work mainly on cloud‑native applications and transformation processes.
What You Will Do
- Design and execute the transition from a modular monolith architecture to a cloud‑native microservices architecture.
- Define the strategy for decomposing the monolith into independent services.
- Design communication patterns between services (event‑driven, synchronous and asynchronous APIs).
- Build the technical foundation of the new Go backend platform (services, standards, and shared structure).
- Establish architectural standards for distributed systems (resilience, consistency, observability).
- Implement the execution foundation on Kubernetes and continuous deployment practices.
- Integrate messaging system
