Your Role
We are looking for a Trainee to join the Growth Team , working at the heart of the Innovation team . This team plays a strategic role in the company:
- Identifying the forces shaping the future of pet nutrition
- Guiding the organization towards new opportunities
- Building the innovation platforms that our general and local brands will develop into future‑winning products and experiences

As a trainee, you will contribute to this mission by bringing fresh curiosity, analytical thinking, and a strong appetite for trends and innovation. You will collaborate closely with the Global Brands team , Digital team and the Local Marketing teams to ensure that the insights and platforms created truly inspire, guide, and accelerate growth across the company.

What you will do
- Continuously analyse emerging trends in both human food and pet food , identifying signals of change in ingredients, claims, formats, packaging, and consumer behaviours.




- Stay updated on trends coming from more mature or innovation‑driven markets to detect potential opportunities for our brands and innovation pipeline.
- Translate trends into concise insights and inspiration for the Innovation team.
- Conduct monthly competitor tracking across our key geographies, monitoring new product launches, brand activations, claims evolution, formats, and sustainability advancements.
- Support in identifying white spaces and areas of opportunity from a category and consumer perspective.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to integrate digital consumer signals, social listening outputs, and online behaviours into trend and innovation analysis.
- Support the team preparing benchmarks, trend boards, reports, and inspiration materials.
- Collaborate in the development of specific innovation projects

What we are looking for
