Senior Linux Platform Engineer – Complex Systems & Incident Resolution
You will be part of the team responsible for operating one of the largest and most complex hosting platforms in Europe. Your mission will be to ensure the stability, performance, and evolution of the Stretch platform, working directly on critical production systems and contributing to continuous improvement of a highly distributed infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Operation, maintenance, and evolution of large-scale Linux infrastructure.
- Advanced (Level 3) support for complex platform incidents.
- Automation of processes using scripting (BASH, Python) and infrastructure tools.
- Operation and management of distributed storage systems (Ceph).
- Monitoring and analysis of the platform using observability tools (Grafana and similar).
- Continuous improvement of system architecture and stability.
- Collaboration with international teams to absorb knowledge from legacy systems.
- Participation in on‑call rotation.

Professional profile
Must have
- +3 years of experience in Linux system administration.




- Strong scripting skills in BASH and Python .
- Experience with configuration and automation tools:
- Puppet or SaltStack
- Ansible or Terraform
- Hands‑on experience operating Ceph storage clusters in production environments.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana .
- Fluent English , required for international communication.

Nice to have
- Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in highly distributed or high‑availability environments.
- Technical curiosity and continuous learning mindset.
- Ability to work in complex environments with incomplete documentation.
