Resolution of July 17, 2026, announcing a position for a University Master's degree at ISCiii.
Responsibilities
Support in monitoring entry circuit, clinical cases and handling, registration and traceability of samples for the IMPaCT-Genomics2 project.
Collaborate in organization, updating and maintenance of databases for patients’ clinical and genomic data.
Support preparation and preliminary technical review of genetic data, including exomes and functional validation or cell expression studies.
Participate in bioinformatics analysis and preparation of technical information from genomic data, correlating with targets and cell biology models.
Assist with technical and operational communication with healthcare centers and sequencing platforms involved in the consortium.
Help with logistical organization, preparation of documentation, minutes for periodic case evaluation meetings, and participation in project working groups.
Provide technical assistance for preparing materials for translation, transfer, dissemination and scientific outreach of the IMPaCT-Genomics2 project.
Qualifications
Official Master’s Degree in Molecular Genetics and/or Molecular and Cellular Biology.
Two years of experience in scientific research projects in clinical genetics and omics technologies.
Training in genomic data analysis applied to genetic diagnosis.
Training and knowledge in rare diseases.
Experience with molecular genetics techniques and cell culture or cellular analysis (e.g., NGS, Sanger, qPCR).
Experience in collection and management of clinical and genomic data, including WGS.
Scientific dissemination: publications, conference presentations, participation in national conferences in rare diseases.
Participation in research projects/groups in rare diseases.
Research stays at genetics and genomics centers.
Proficiency in IT environments: Microsoft Office, research information systems, specialised software.
Ability to work independently with strong planning and organisational skills.
Problem‑solving skills, responsibility and commitment.
