Core Responsibilities
- Key Stage Leadership: Oversee the daily operations, behaviour,



and transitions for your assigned cohort (KS3/4 or KS5).
- Curriculum Excellence: Design and lead high-quality, sequenced curriculums for PE and Geography, ensuring scaffolds for EAL learners.
- Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging PE and Geography lessons that prioritise active learning and higher-order thinking.
- Staff Development: Line‑manage and coach subject staff and tutors to improve teaching standards.
- Enrichment: Lead school fixtures, sports teams, and Geography field trips.

Requirements
- Qualified teacher status (UK or equivalent) with substantial experience teaching PE and Geography at secondary level (KS3/4 and/or KS5).
- Proven leadership experience (KS lead, subject lead or equivalent) with evidence of improving teaching and outcomes.
- Strong subject knowledge across PE and Geography; confident delivering practical PE and Geography fieldwork and enquiry tasks.
- Experience differentiating for EAL learners and embedding literacy
