About the role
We're looking for a Finance Intern to join our Finance team. This person will support internal control processes, account reviews, and regulatory compliance, working closely with other areas of the company.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of periodic internal audits on financial and operational processes.
- Review and reconcile accounting records, identifying discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing documentation for external and regulatory audits.
- Assess compliance with internal financial control policies.
- Analyze transactions and cash flows to detect potential risks or irregularities.
- Prepare findings reports with clear, actionable recommendations.
- Support monthly and annual closing processes in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Stay up to date on applicable accounting and tax regulations (local and international).

Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience in auditing, financial control,



or accounting (Big Four or audit firm internships are a plus).
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS knowledge is a plus).
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERPs (SAP, NetSuite, etc.) is a plus.
- High level of English (international environment); Spanish/Catalan are a plus.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with complex data.
- Strong communication skills to present findings to different stakeholders.

Nice to have
- Ongoing or completed certification (ACCA, CIA, CISA, or similar).
- Prior experience in tech, SaaS, or iGaming companies.
- Familiarity with automation or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
