Digital Sun is looking for a talented VFX Artist to join our team in Valencia (Spain), and help shape the visual identity of our upcoming projects.

As part of the team behind games such as Moonlighter, you’ll work closely with artists, designers, and programmers to create and integrate high-quality real-time effects in both Unity and Unreal.

What you’ll be doing

▪️ Creating eye-catching particle effects, textures, shaders, and animations.

▪️ Designing VFX that enhance gameplay, readability, and atmosphere.

▪️ Integrating and optimizing effects in Unity and Unreal.

▪️ Collaborating with our art, design, and programming teams.

▪️ Helping us push the quality and creativity of our upcoming games.

What we’re looking for

▪️ Professional experience as a VFX Artist in the video game industry.

▪️ A strong portfolio showcasing real-time visual effects.

▪️ Experience with Unity and its particle and shader systems.

▪️ Experience with Unreal Engine and its particle and shader systems.

▪️ A strong eye for lighting, color, movement, composition, and detail.





▪️ Great communication skills and the ability to work in both Spanish- and English-speaking environments.

Nice to have

▪️ Experience with HLSL or GLSL.

▪️ Knowledge of Maya, Blender, or similar 3D tools.

▪️ Previous experience working on 3D games.

▪️ C# scripting experience in Unity.
