About the Role
You will assist the Chef de Partie and kitchen brigade in preparing ingredients, executing dishes to Mandarin Oriental Hotels Group standards, and supporting service across outlets and events. The role provides exposure to high-volume banqueting and fine dining production within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Know all recipes and preparation methods for your section to prepare them independently.
- Manage the section and kitchen assistants independently while demonstrating leadership.
- Oversee order reception.
- Operate and care for kitchen equipment safely; maintain clean and organised workstations.
- Receive, rotate, and store deliveries; assist with stock control and basic inventory tasks.
- Adhere strictly to HACCP, food safety and allergen procedures; report any food quality issues.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, maintain professionalism, and contribute to a positive kitchen culture.

What We Expect From You
- Culinary qualification or relevant vocational experience.




- Some experience in a professional Michelin kitchen (ideally 1+ year); experience in luxury hotels or banqueting is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene, allergen awareness and safe food handling (HACCP).
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and events as required.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred; other languages are a plus.
