Overview
Protocol & Events vacancy within Airbus Defence and Space in San Pablo (Sevilla) – manage and coordinate visits to Airbus facilities in Spain, lead internal and external events, and continuously seek improvement and innovation in the function.
Responsibilities
- Organize internal and external events, ensuring a good image of Airbus and fulfilment of the company's standards.
- Develop the events strategy creatively and efficiently, coordinating logistics and leading projects with all involved teams.
- Manage VIP visits, coordinating strategy with managers and requesters (Commercial, Programme, Public Affairs) and ensuring culture, background and special features of each delegation are considered.
- Coordinate customer attention guaranteeing the company's standards and Ethics and Compliance policy, as well as client idiosyncrasies.
- Manage relations with local authorities in close relation with Public Affairs.
- Harmonize the image of Airbus as an integrated company.
- Participate on international and transversal working groups to improve the function, innovate and integrate.
- Coordinate continuous relationships with suppliers, setting standards and ways of working.
This position requires an awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in public relations, events organization and external stakeholder management.
- More than 5 years of experience in Airbus visits management and coordination.
- High level of integrity and discretion, accustomed to confidential environments.
- Awareness of the company’s Ethics and Compliance policy and events/visits standards.
- Ability to deal with tight schedules and manage time‑critical tasks.
- Experience in managing, coordinating and consolidating projects.
- Proactive and strategic mindset, focused on qualitative delivery.
- Excellent communication, organization, creativity, innovation and team‑player skills.
- Versátil nature and high level of social skills; able to handle unforeseen scenarios.
- Deep knowledge of Airbus products and strategy.
- Familiarity with military aircraft customers, national air forces, armies, ministries of defence, etc.
- Understanding of institutional stakeholders of Airbus in general and in Andalusia in particular.
- Thorough knowledge of Airbus internal procedures.
- Broad experience in dealing with all levels of management.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
