Your future role
Full‑time Virtualization & Network Junior Technician in Madrid. You will perform the integration of Boolean Logic to be applied to the stations and blocks to be developed in a virtual environment. You’ll work closely with engineering and software development teams, manage system requirements implementation and validation for ALSTOM IXL projects (electronic interlocking) and much more.
Responsibilities
Understand system requirements, as set by the customer, and carry out gap analysis toward the ALSTOM standard platform.
Carry out engineering activities in the engineering phase of integration of Boolean Logic development for electronic interlocking, including tests for control/command of interlocking.
Coordinate with other engineering team members and other disciplines of the project.
Perform engineering activities required for system/subsystems to match customer's requirements while considering QCD objectives.
Design Virtual Environment Boolean Logic of IXL during development and commissioning phases.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements is aligned with ALSTOM standard platform policy.
Ensure quality of work to contribute to the quality of the system being delivered.
Manage QCD of the part of the project assigned as Work Package Owner.
Qualifications
University degree (high level) in industrial or telecom engineering, or professional training in telecom or software development.
Experience with virtualised environments (Vcenter, Proxmox, etc.).
Experience in networking (WLAN, etc.).
Programming, automation and AI skills.
High level English proficiency.
Willingness to travel, especially during preliminary design and commissioning phases.
Experience with electronic interlockings is a plus.
