Within the Product Engineering department, the primary responsibility is to design and revise components utilizing composite materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept generation and development.
- Creation of detailed 3D models.
- Preparation of comprehensive part and assembly drawings in accordance with GD&T; company drafting standards.
- Conducting preliminary design analyses through hand calculations.
- Selection of appropriate materials and laminate design.
- Providing support on the shop floor.
- Maintenance and improvement of existing designs.
- Active participation in design reviews.
- Involvement in structural testing, both destructive and non-destructive.
- Offering assistance with additional design tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in component design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software, specifically Creo Parametric.
- Strong understanding of the mechanical behavior of materials, including stress-strain relationships, failure criteria, and fatigue.
- Expertise in composite materials.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and demonstrate initiative.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken, with a minimum level of B2.
