Job Description Manage risk and opportunities relevant to the accountable Manager's business, covering the whole context including operations and executed processes.
Duties of a Risk and Opportunity Manager
Act in the spirit of the Airbus Group Policy CDS-009 'Enterprise Risk Management' and perform the following activities:
Establish the context and prepare the ROM plan.
Schedule, initiate, manage with ROM stakeholders and execute ROM process activities (according to Figure 1).
Clarify accountabilities (especially: R/O owner, R/O response action owner).
Promote an anticipation and ROM-oriented mind-set.
Close follow-up of successful execution of risk treatment actions.
Provide assurance / advise to management regarding the achievement of:
Reliability of financial reporting.
Airbus Group/Div.
capabilities to identify, assess, respond to, take control actions and monitor risks & opportunities on a timely basis throughout the Group, consistent with Airbus Group /Div objectives.
ERM system design and operational effectiveness.
Transparency and quality of risk & opportunity monitoring and reporting.
Ensures compliance with risk & opportunity rules, regulations and procedures.




Implements and operates the risk & opportunity management strategy.
This role requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.
