About the role
The data science team, currently 11 members,
focuses on pricing, classification of open banking data and credit decisioning. All data scientists actively contribute to building Render and adapting it to different use cases and products, by being directly embedded in the tech team. As we launch in Spain, we’re hiring our first local data scientist to build out the credit risk model for the Spanish market, working closely with both our local Spanish team and our London-based Data Science team.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with our local Head of Credit Risk to build and develop the local credit risk model for the Spanish market, from initial development through to ongoing iteration and performance monitoring
- Evaluate, select and integrate local data providers (bureau, Open Banking, alternative data) to power credit decisioning in Spain
