Job Description:
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France's eligibility criteria.
The contract duration is between 6 to 24 months.
Job Overview
Airbus Helicopters Spain in Albacete is looking for a
3D harness designer
under a VIE contract.
You will join the engineering department and work in a multidisciplinary, autonomous team to create innovative solutions in an environment of trust.
You will focus on integrated electrical harnesses for new helicopter platforms (H160, VSR700, H175, RACER, City Airbus).
The role involves 3D studies for the integration of electrical harnesses in a DMU (Digital Mock Up) environment to ensure safety and reliability.
Responsibilities
3D creation of electrical harness routing with the CATIA V5 EHI module
Studies and positioning of harness supports
3D creation of interface plans with the structure for the harness supports
Creation of harness manufacturing plans in 2D with the CATIA V5 EHF module
Creation of harness installation drawings on the helicopter
Impact analysis in the event of modification
Interface with other departments and professions within the design office
Production support on the assembly line or in production centers
Qualifications




Knowledge of harness routing in a 3D environment
Creation of production drawings
Management of a DMU and 3D environment
Knowledge and mastery of CATIA V5 software with specific electrical modules
Knowledge of the rules for installing electrical harnesses in an aeronautical environment
Comfortable working in a complex environment and adaptability to changing priorities
Ability to take a step back and maintain an overall project view
Soft Skills: methodology and rigor, team spirit and dynamism, transparent communication, positive attitude in challenging situations, ability to work on set
Language skills: Negotiation level in French and advanced in English
Other Requirements
This position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
All candidates must be EU citizens (including Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco) or nominated graduates up to the age of 28, and must have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if applicable.
