General Summary The Fitness Sales Manager ensures a positive customer experience personally and through coaching supervision, delivers excellent member service and private training and supplement revenue, addresses member concerns and employee relations, oversees scheduling and time?keeping, and consistently enforces company policies.
The role requires 7?day availability, including both morning and night shifts, and is responsible for attaining revenue goals for private training and supplements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sell and conduct private training and small group training with members.
Execute an effective prospecting strategy, conduct guest tours, and complete staff sales through the turnover process.
Service introductory PT packages, build value, re?sign clients on full programs, and hand them off to coaching staff.
Prospect members in person or digitally to generate complimentary appointments and sell personal training programs.
Ensure accurate administration of client programs, supplement purchases, measurement tracking, and workout programs; arrive on time, prepared, and attentive.
Assist in all revenue?generating activities, including complimentary workouts, supplement booths, body fat tables, seminars, workshops, etc.
Achieve monthly revenue objectives for private training and supplements.
Review daily club sales performance and employee performance statistics with the Fitness Manager, Vice President, and staff to identify issues and clarify required behaviors.
Administer company policies related to the sales process.
Independently schedule and manage client appointments, coordinate with clients to arrange sessions per availability, and maintain up?to?date scheduling records while making adjustments for changes or cancellations.




Work with the Fitness Manager to ensure coaches are productive and revenue goals are met; conduct monthly, weekly, and daily meetings with coaches to review performance and operations.
Handle member service matters, provide club tours, explain services offered by the coaching department, sign up members for training agreements, and mediate member issues and concerns.
Perform administrative and housekeeping duties, alert Operations staff of repairs and maintenance needs, and conduct facility walk?throughs daily.
Supervise coach sales activities, review agreements, prepare daily paperwork, and comply with operational procedures; conduct compliance checks on club systems and employee performance.
Required Qualifications
In?depth knowledge of personal training techniques from assessment to program design, and sales.
Ability to operate and adjust all fitness equipment.
Knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, enthusiastic, and positive attitude.
Strong customer service focus; responds professionally to guests, members, and staff inquiries.
Understands and follows oral and written instructions; communicates clearly and concisely.
Possesses strong organizational skills, basic record?keeping practices,



and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Computer proficiency with basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
Adheres to meal and rest break periods and clocks in/out for all shift times.
Minimum one certification from an organization recognized by UFC Gym.
Current CPR/AED certification.
High school diploma or GED.
Four?year degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Experience in management/employee relations preferred.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to stand.
Physical effort includes lifting heavy weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing and walking.
Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 45+ lbs.
