As an Automation & RPA Engineer you will help transform and automate internal processes across our European IT organization. You will focus on process optimization, automation delivery, and future AI enablement .
Location and Business Support
Based in Barcelona, Spain; you will join a globally distributed team in support of our European Laboratory businesses.
Responsibilities
you will:
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across IT and business processes
- Develop RPA workflows, scripts, and automations (e.g. Power Automate, Python, PowerShell)
- Automate repetitive activities such as:
- Reporting & KPIs
- Data handling & reconciliation
- IT support processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical solutions
- Contribute to AI-driven initiatives (e.g. copilots, intelligent agents)
- Continuously improve and scale automation solutions

Qualifications
- ~2–6 years of experience in automation / RPA / scripting / process improvement
- Hands‑on experience with tools such as:
- Power Automate / RPA tools




- Python, PowerShell or similar
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies
- Good communication skills in English and ability to work in an international team

You are:
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new environments
- A fast learner.
- Self‑motivated with a can‑do attitude.

Additional desirable skills
- Experience with APIs or system integrations
- Exposure to Power Platform or low‑code tools
- Basic data handling or database knowledge
- Background in Pharma operations.
