Job Summary
Anglès a la Carta is a small, friendly English School in the town of Figueres near Spain's Costa Brava. We have an excellent local reputation for the high quality of our teaching and are looking for dedicated, responsible teachers who can deliver enjoyable and motivating classes. Candidates MUST enjoy working with young learners and teens. The school has a permanent waiting list of students who wish to enrol with us, and we have an excellent pass rate every year for the Cambridge ESOL examinations.
We teach groups of no more than 6 students at a time, and the vast majority of our learners are children and teenagers from 6-18 years old. There are currently over 350 students enrolled with us and 8 members of staff.

Qualifications
We will only consider applicants who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Native level English speaker
- EU nationals or valid Spanish work permit
- At least 1 year experience
- Experience working with children and teenagers
- Working knowledge of Spanish preferable
- Experience of Cambridge ESOL examinations preferable

Salary and Benefits
From €1,319 / month ≈ £1,138 / $1,503
Benefits: Holiday pay, Medical care
25 hour working week - 23.5 contact hours and 1.5 hours paid on-site time.
Fixed monthly salary of 1319 before tax - approx 1235 net per month.
Full, legal contract with social security benefits (free health care etc).
All holidays fully paid (approximately 2 weeks for Christmas, 10 days for Easter, plus all local and national holidays).
