Job Description The person holding this position within the MRTT & Derivatives Programme Finance Team will be responsible for the financial controlling of specific contracts and developments, as well as for the definition and implementation of the appropriate digital tools to drive simplification and innovation for cross?departmental activities.
Responsibilities
Business Partner of the different MRTT and Derivatives Program Directors, supporting decision?making to ensure financial objectives are fulfilled.
Propose and secure company financial targets for the programmes under control (contracts and development projects).
Drive the programme's Estimate at Completion process, supporting and challenging financial impacts of decisions and measuring achievement of financial performance/targets (revenues, margin, cash?in...) and highlighting deviations and risks.
Establish, define, harmonise, and ensure consistency and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls; manage programme financial reporting for consolidation and reporting at company and Airbus level (OP, forecasts, actuals, accounting criteria, etc.) and interface with Airbus Finance, Airbus D&S; Finance, and financial auditors.
Organise programme financial reviews, derive corrective measures, monitor action plans, and ensure consistency with other processes (EVM, EAC, ERM, OP/FC) and interface with related stakeholders (Chief Engineers, Procurement, Heads of Programme in Operations and Services, Functions Controllers).
Manage and coordinate all financial aspects of contractual clauses, secure the customer collection process (cash management), and achieve cash targets.
Skills
Degree in Finance, Economics,
Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience in Finance/Controlling functions supporting defence programmes.
Hands?on experience in data analytics, digitalisation and process automation initiatives.
Knowledge of programming languages (Python, SQL, VBA or equivalent) and their application to finance and business processes.
Experience with business intelligence and data?visualisation tools.
