As anMaintenance agent, you're not just maintaining the hotel's physical safety and functionality – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.Here's what you'll do during a typical day:Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areasRespond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work ordersPerform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonryConduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needsDocument maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attentionWhat It Takes to Make the StayA certificate in a specialized field such as Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration, Carpentry, or Plumbing, requiredCurrent working knowledge of general maintenance and engineering workExperience in the Maintenance Department of a large hotel, hospital, ship,
