Role Overview The IT Procurement Specialist is a procurement professional with experience in sourcing processes, vendor management and contract management across software, hardware and IT services categories. Operating as an embedded extension of the client’s IT Procurement team, this role supports sourcing events, contributes to negotiations, coordinates with stakeholders across IT, Finance and Legal, and provides procurement expertise across RFx processes, contract drafting and category strategy. This role combines hands‑on operational execution with targeted strategic input, typically operating across multiple client engagements within the EMEA Services Delivery function. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & RFx: lead end-to-end sourcing processes across SW, HW and IT services, from strategy definition and vendor shortlisting through RFx execution to negotiation and award Contract Management: draft, review and manage contracts in Docu Sign CLM, coordinating approval workflows with Legal, IT and Finance Benchmarking & Market Intelligence: deliver pricing benchmarks and market insights to support negotiations and build savings business cases Procurement Channel Strategy: define purchasing channels by category, tier and geography,
evaluate reseller consolidation opportunities and drive internal adoption of procurement policies Vendor Performance & Spend: track IT spend against budget and contracts, manage vendor escalations and identify optimization and renegotiation opportunities Pre‑Renewal Analysis: work closely with the Software Asset Management team to translate license consumption data into negotiating positions ahead of key contract renewals Candidate Profile 2 to 4 years of experience in IT sourcing, vendor management and contract management across SW, HW and IT services Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering measurable procurement value Experience designing and running RFx processes and category and channel strategies Familiarity with Docu Sign CLM and Ariba is an advantage Spanish (native or fluent) and English (professional) are required CIPS certification or equivalent is desirable Capable of managing competing priorities and delivering results autonomously within a client environment Based in the Barcelona area Insight is firmly committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable recruitment process.
