Naval architect/ Marine engineer/ Marine Designer required for immediate start, working alongside in-house sailmakers and composite engineers at One Palma Superyacht Service. You will be working in a dynamic, data-driven, research and development-led team, based out of our new facility in Palma de Mallorca.

Responsibilities:

assessing project requirements and researching feasibility

planning and supervising the construction of sails and composite parts

producing detailed designs of sails and composite parts for yachts, using drawings and specialist computer software

developing and utilizing test procedures including computer modeling and scale models

interpreting and analyzing data and test results

sourcing and purchasing components, equipment and materials

ensuring adherence to appropriate health and safety legislation/standards

identifying the need for, and supervising, repairs

writing reports and documentation

giving presentations

undertaking relevant research





providing technical advice

answering queries from clients.

Profile:

A team player.

Outstanding organizational skills.

A degree in a relevant subject such as naval architecture, marine or mechanical engineering, engineering design or civil or structural engineering.

Relevant shipyard/design office work experience is desirable.
