Job Overview:

ITProposal is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a wireless infrastructure deployment project in Madrid. For the project manager role, the location is key: managing cabling installations, coordinating Access Point (AP) deployment, and ensuring successful Wi-Fi implementation in a high-end retail environment. Ideal for a proactive professional with a strong technical background and stakeholder coordination skills, especially as a Project Manager based in Madrid.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Deployment:

- Oversee installation and testing of network cabling
- Manage Access Point installation and controller setup
- Ensure up-to-date documentation for all installations

Scheduling & Coordination:

- Lead the retail implementation schedule as the Project Manager in Madrid, highlighting the importance of managing local logistics.
- Liaise with retail coordinators and security providers.
- Communicate schedule changes to all involved teams

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:

- Manage brand-related issues and late cancellations
- Spot-check AP locations and resolve placement concerns
- Ensure readiness with brands ahead of scheduled installs.

Wi-Fi & Infrastructure Management:

- Coordinate Wi-Fi setup during retail store refits
- Work with stakeholders to validate coverage and roaming.




- Assist with captive portal testing and compliance, integral to the Project Manager position in Madrid.

Reporting & Handover:

- Draft weekly project reports and steering group updates
- Participate in go-live procedures and cutovers
- Oversee decommissioning of legacy systems

Required Skills & Experience:

- Project Management certification (Prince2 or equivalent)
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Experience managing technical installation projects
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external partners
- Excellent planning, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines, especially crucial in the role focusing on Project Manager duties in Madrid.
