VHIR is offering a vacancy for a Clinical Researcher to join the Liver Diseases Research Group. Our group investigates the mechanisms involved in chronic liver diseases, with a special interest in MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease) and ALD (alcoholic liver disease). The work combines basic, translational and clinical research to identify biomarkers, new therapeutic targets and prevention strategies.
Main responsibilities and duties
- Participate as a sub-investigator in Hepatology clinical trials as well as observational studies.
- Support ongoing research projects within the group.
- Collaborate with the clinical team in the coordination and execution of research studies.
- Assist the clinical team in the tasks necessary for the development of studies.

Education and qualifications
- Medical Degree (M.D.)
- Completed resident in either Internal Medicine or Digestive disease (MIR)
- Fluency in Catalan and Spanish
- Working proficiency in English

Experience and knowledge
- Required: Experience in managing patients with advance liver disease
- Desirable:



Experience with SAP management program
- Desirable: Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Desirable: Experience with REDCap databases

Labour conditions
- Working hours: Part-time (18.75 hours per week).
- Starting date: 20/07/2026.
- Gross annual salary: 14.100€.
- Contract type: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to project activities.
