The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s first formal Quality Management System. This is a high-impact role that transitions the organization from a research-oriented environment to a disciplined, certified, and document-driven production entity.

Main Responsibilities

A. QMS & ISO Certification (The Framework)

- Conduct the roadmap for ISO 9001 certification (and future IATF 16949 or other International quality standards as needed).
- Conduct gap analyses of existing processes against international standards.
- Establish and track Quality KPIs (Yield, SPC/CPK, RMA rates, Supplier Performance) for the Operations department.

B. Document Control Center (DCC) Setup

- Establish a centralized Document Control Center for all technical drawings (GDS), BOMs, and assembly instructions.
- Define and enforce the PCR/PCN (Process Change Request/Notice) procedures to ensure all design changes are reviewed and approved (internally and externally).

C. Standards & SOP Writing

- Collaborate with Engineering and NPI teams to author Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI).
- Facilitate PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) sessions to identify and mitigate manufacturing risks.
- Draft the company Quality Manual and associated policy documents.

D. Audit & Compliance for Internal teams

- Establish an Internal and external Audit program to ensure cross-functional compliance with established SOPs.
- Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action system to resolve systemic quality issues.
- Conduct technical audits and process capability assessments to ensure vendors and foundries meet requirements.




- Establish performance dashboards and host Quality Business Reviews (QBRs) to monitor supplier compliance.

4. Candidate Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degrees or above, in Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in the fields of Quality (Quality system, Quality control, Customer Quality, Supplier Quality, Document Control…) in high-tech companies, such as Semiconductor, Photonics, Optical Telecom or Networking …
- Languages: English C1 level; Other languages skill is a plus.

Technical Skills

- Technical Writing: Mastery in translating complex technical processes into clear, concise, and auditable instructions.
- Deep knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards; Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Quality Core Tools : APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, PCR/N and SPC.
- Experience with Document Control software .
