**The Job**

We are looking for a passionate cook to join our culinary team in the Netherlands. You will be responsible for efficiently managing your station, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring dishes are consistently prepared and presented. This role requires a balance of cooking skills, leadership, and teamwork, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.

This vacancy requires on-site work and you will be required to be at the restaurant. **It will require re-location to Amstelveen, The Netherlands**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Preparation & Cooking_
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet required specifications.
- Maintain mise-en-place and readiness for service at all times.
- Section Management_
- Take full responsibility for your kitchen station.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and aligned with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Oversee portion control and minimize food waste.
- Teamwork_
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and restaurant staff.
- Assist and guide junior kitchen staff.
- Communicate clearly during busy service periods.
- Health & Safety_
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.




- Use and maintain kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
- Report any safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Stock & Inventory_
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory control.
- Support with ordering and checking deliveries.
- Innovation & Quality Control_
- Contribute ideas for menu development and presentation improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
- Vocational education (equivalent to Dutch MBO level 3-4).
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques.
- Able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
