**Video Editor/Filmmaker**

**Job Brief**

As a video editor, you will manage material such as camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects to produce a final video product. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills will determine the quality and delivery of the finished result.

**Responsibilities**
- You will create advertising assets for leading brands and clients such as Nike, HP, Amazon Prime, Gorillas, etc.
- You will adapt all kinds of video content to social media campaigns to all kinds of platforms, lengths and languages, ensuring each and every ad is fit-for-format and looks pixel perfect.
- Make sure deadlines are met and flag the ones that aren't feasible upfront.
- You will work closely with motion graphics, creatives and production crew to condense footage and present in an appropriate way.
- Your work as an editor will involve receiving a brief and inputting uncut rushes and sound. Cutting files to put together the sequence of the video and deciding what's usable, creating a 'rough cut' to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video.
- Overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing.

**Requirements**:

- For this role we're looking for a video editor with 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficiency in editing software programs, Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Great knowledge in online editing, color correction, color grading and adding special effects to enhance edits for client reviews.
- You can create spot-on localization edits for different types of digital ads.
- You're a true team player who's great with clients and colleagues alike but can also work independently with little guidance.
- Working with tight deadlines fits you like skinny jeans; you never fail on delivering.
- You can work under pressure, taking responsibility for your own workload, time management, note-making and feedback-processing, as well as any other actions required to make the work great.




- You can prioritize and problem-solve, not hitting the panic button for any bump in the road.
- You understand the post production workflow and are aware of how things need to be done in order to follow a proper structure.
- When you're working on a project you really own it and can propose creative solutions when it comes to editing and storytelling.
- Experience as a camera operator is a plus.
