**DESCRIPTION**:
The MMEP team is seeking an experienced program manager to join the Middle Mile Engineering Programs (MMEP) team to support the middle mile logistics network in Europe and UK. Our program managers are key players in delivering end-to-end solutions to our logistics network, thinking about the bigger picture, influencing key business decisions and pioneering new ways of thinking. In this role you will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the organization, scoping new solutions and making a big impact on some of the most exciting ideas that are shaping the future of Amazon.

Would you like an opportunity to travel and work in multiple countries and cultures? The role will be based in Spain, Italy, Germany, or UK with minimum 25% of travelling either domestically or to other EMEA countries.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive complex projects to completion in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Partner with senior leadership to establish project priorities and strategic direction
- Lead and motivate project teams using strong interpersonal skills
- Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization
- Develop innovative, data-driven solutions to business challenges
- Make sound decisions under pressure and navigate competing priorities
- Manage end-to-end project delivery and track performance through KPIs
- Develop, present and execute business cases (e.g. major investments, retrofits) in collaboration with over 10+ teams

A day in the life
As a Program Manager, you'll play a key role in improving our middle mile network through smart, data-driven solutions. A typical day will see you moving between different parts of the business - from meeting with senior leaders to plan new projects, to visiting our sites to check on progress and work with local teams.



You'll spend time looking at data to spot ways we can work better, coming up with creative fixes to problems, and bringing people together to make things happen. Whether you're managing day-to-day project challenges or thinking about long-term improvements, your work will directly help shape how we deliver for our customers.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, operations, logistics, supply chain, or related field
- Experience managing complex projects
- Strong track record of stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and project management software
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and present data-driven insights to various audiences
- Proven experience delivering results under tight deadlines
- Excellent multitasking abilities with a history of managing concurrent projects effectively
- Advanced proficiency in English and local language

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Proven track record of successfully implementing large-scale projects from concept to completion
- Previous experience in Transport, Distribution, or Logistics industry
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- French, Polish, Arabic, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered preferred qualifications
