YOUR MISSION

n

We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in Barcelona to undertake the month-end closing process for our entities, meet with the reporting deadlines and timings and ensure we are in compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable reporting standards. You will work closely with our local, Regional and HQ finance teams to manage financial processes, prepare reports, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

THE JOURNEY

Lead and complete the month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.nMaintain paperworks for the monthly accruals as required as a part of the monthly financial reporting process.nMaintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations.nEnsure accurate and timely financial statements and reports for management.nCollaborate with external auditors during financial audits.nReview income statements and balance sheet discrepancies and escalate to management if necessary.

Conducts General

n

Audit of all Accounting Ledgers on a regular basis.nControl and confirm all the invoices received and issued through the invoicing platform.nEnsure all accounting/financial Policies and Procedures are adopted in line with prevailing legislation.nComply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS)



during the month-end closing reporting.nParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and controls.nActively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference.nWork closely with the local finance team within different finance projects.nSupport the Head of Finance with any finance or accounting related topic.nAdapt quickly to changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation.nCheck all original documents (contracts, acts, VAT declarations, etc.) for the company interest.

Qualifications

n

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

Bachelor's Degree from related departments (Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, etc...). CPA certification is a plus.n2+ years of applicable work experience in Accounting or similar role for multinational companies.

n

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end closing process preparation.nOpen to learn the local accounting standards and tax regulationsnStrong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures (GAAP/IFRS).nAvailability to travel according to the business needs.nGood experience in SAP (or any other system) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheet.nFluent in English (MUST)



with the ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral).nStrong analytical skills to analyze financial reports.nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.nA good organization & planning skills.
