**Senior Backend Engineer - Berlin (On-Site)**:
**About the Company**

This is a full-time, high-ownership role working onsite with the core team.

**What You’ll Do**
- Build and scale ingestion and processing layers for high-volume event data
- Collaborate with founding engineers and influence core architectural decisions
- Work across backend infrastructure including Clickhouse, Postgres, Redis, and S3
- Contribute to a thriving commercial open-source project
- Help ensure observability, performance, and stability at scale

**What We’re Looking For**
- 3-5+ years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering




- Strong understanding of scalable backend systems
- Experience with TypeScript and tools like Clickhouse, Postgres, Redis is a plus
- Ownership mindset and ability to work independently
- Familiarity with developer tools and modern APIs (e.g. tRPC, Prisma)

**Contract & Compensation**
- Full-time, permanent position
- Location: On-site in Berlin, Germany
- Language: English (required)
- Salary range: €70,000-€130,000 gross/year, depending on experience
- Equity options available
