ALG is a leading global consultancy team with 35 years of professional experience working alongside the top players in the transport sectors (operators, infrastructure developers and investors, etc.), advising them on how to better prepare to respond to strategic, capacity, infrastructure, and operational challenges. We have a worldwide presence leveraging on our offices located in Spain, UAE, KSA, U.S.A, Brazil, and Mexico.

Currently, we are looking for a Consultant, with a background in Transport and Infrastructure Strategic Consulting, to join our team in Barcelona or Madrid.

Sector experience:

- Land transportation (Intermodal, Railways, Highways, Urban transport)
- Logistics (Multimodal- Roads, Rails, Ports and Air cargo- Dry Ports, Special Economic Zones)

Your role

As a Consultant, you will be part of one of the top integral transport and infrastructure consulting companies and you will work with the leading transport operators, infrastructure developers and investors advising them on strategic, commercial and operational challenges. You will participate in a variety of projects in a team completely dedicated to projects with particular focus in different countries in Africa.

You will be responsible for:

- Applying well developed consulting skills and an in-depth functional knowledge in the execution of assignments.

- Plan, organize, and lead tasks and projects to ensure the quality of client deliverables.

- Leverage and improve various frameworks and methodologies within strategy development and implementation.

- Demonstrate knowledge of industry and market trends in providing recommendations to clients based on best practices.

- Interpret the results from multiple project components and translate these findings into clear and compelling recommendations and solutions.





- Work closely with client team members to generate practical solutions and ensure successful implementation.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Master’s Degree from a top-tier university program in Civil Engineering or other relevant engineering field related to the post.
- Experience in strategic consultancy would be a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required. French would be a plus.
- High analytical and numerical skills (Office – Excel, Power Point etc.)
- Availability to travel.
