Our team is in charge of developing engineering studies for the creation, update or optimization of aircraft Maintenance Programs, using specific methodologies, for different customers - main European aircraft manufacturers or vendors.n

ntechnical translators specialized in, and with demonstrate experience in, translating documents from French to English (FRàEN) to reinforce our in-house translations teams in our production center in Madrid.n

nand vice versa, and technical documentation like aircraft maintenance manuals, industrial installations instructions, ground vehicles maintenance or other similar technical language- related translations.n
- *JOB DESCRIPTION**

nYou will be mainly involved in:n

Analysis of source documentation authored in French or German, in collaboration and close contact with our technical authors.

n

Translation from French to German and from German to French.

n

Management of translation memories in automatic translations software (TRADOS).

n

Cross-check processes in accordance with our Quality Assurance processes.





n

- *PROFILE**

nWe are looking for candidates whose profile matches the following characteristics:n

Translation or Interpretation studies

nExperience in translations of technical texts from Spanish and English into Frenchn

Experience in the translation of technical texts from other languages, such as English.

n

Knowledge in Simplified Technical English (STE) standard

n

Experience in maintenance manuals and / or real maintenance experience. Systems or structures general knowledge, systems operation, structural repairs, data sheets or other technical domains.

n

Use of translations software e.g. TRADOS STUDIO

n

XML / SGML authoring experience

n

Expert in Microsoft Office

n

Good organizational skills

nAbility to focus on priorities and deliver on time to agreed standardsn

Service-oriented attitude

n

Excellent oral and written communication skills in the different languages.

n
