Forward Deployed Engineer (Python, AI Systems)

We’re supporting one of our clients (an AI-native product company) in hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, AI systems, clients & product and enterprise deployments.

This is not a traditional backend role.

It’s for engineers who want to build, ship, and deploy AI-powered systems directly into real client environments, fast.

The Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll work closely with enterprise customers to design, implement, and deploy AI-driven workflows powered by LLMs and agent-based systems.

You’ll take ownership from architecture to production.

This includes:

- Designing backend architectures in Python (FastAPI-heavy stack)
- Integrating AI systems (LLMs, RAG pipelines, structured outputs)
- Building APIs and microservices for client-specific workflows
- Deploying scalable, containerized services (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Debugging production issues and improving system reliability
- Translating business requirements into clean technical solutions

You won’t just ship code — you’ll see it live, used, and scaled.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong backend engineering fundamentals (Python preferred)




- Experience building and operating production systems
- Comfort with APIs, data modeling, and microservices
- Experience integrating third-party systems or working client-facing
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Product mindset and high ownership mentality

Bonus if you have:

- Experience working with LLMs or AI-powered systems
- Experience with RAG or structured output generation
- Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes)
