We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.
About the Role:
- In this role, you will work closely with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities may include assisting in daily tasks such as transferring patients from wheelchairs to beds or exam tables, setting up equipment for therapy sessions, and helping patients practice exercises during their rehabilitation program. You must have excellent communication skills to provide support and encouragement to your clients while working under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
You will be responsible for facilitating patient care through effective teamwork and clear communication with all members of the healthcare team. This includes collaborating with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors and social workers who contribute towards achieving optimal outcomes for every patient.
