The Opportunity

We are hiring a Project Lead Engineer to support across all disciplines for multiple small to medium complexity projects for Grid Automation, focused on engineering and field services for clients.. This position is to ensure that activities related to engineering and commissioning disciplines within the project are efficiently and cost-effectively executed, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

The role requires high volume of travelling across Spain, while being located in Madrid.

How you will make an impact

- Acts as a technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across all applicable engineering disciplines.

- Preparing base design of substation automation systems, control and protection. Verification of the implemented base design in the detail design.

- To coordinate all technical activities during the complete project duration, from base design till commissioning of the system or equipments of P&C.;

- To approve documentation in accordance with the contractual requirements of the project.

- Works with customers to shape and deliver solutions, seeking feedback and innovating with the customer to drive and deliver improvements.

- To liaise with project management on engineering budgets and to provide forecast cost to complete estimates and associated justification to changes in expenditure.

- Assist in preparing tender proposals and claims.

Your background

University degree in electromechanics, electrical engineering, systems engineering or equivalent.

- Knowledge of automation systems, control,



and protection of substations and at least 3 years of professional experience in this field is required.

- Fluent English; additional language skills are considered an asset.

- Your communicative and assertive personality with good organizational and coordination skills will set you apart.

- In addition, you will contribute to our organization through self-motivation and team spirit underpinned by leadership qualities.
